Welcome!

I have always been passionate about health, wellness, and optimizing life’s potential. With a background in the food industry, I founded Café Bliss and Be Love Restaurant, both focused on organic, plant-based cuisine. Alongside my culinary journey, I have studied elementary education, medical qigong, yoga, meditation, plant medicine, and music.

As a mother of three, my life took a transformative turn when my first born child was diagnosed with Down Syndrome shortly after birth. Thankfully, someone introduced me to ABM when she was just a baby. We began taking her to neuromovement lessons and reading Anat Baniel’s book Kids Beyond Limits, which greatly informed our journey of raising her. Now, many years later, it’s clear that ABM has dramatically improved the trajectory of my daughter’s development, and what is, and will be possible for her.

Inspired by my daughter’s journey and the way the incredible wisdom of this method affected my own well-being, I decided to pursue my own ABM training. I completed the basic training in 2023 and the Children’s Mastery in 2024, driven by a deep desire to share this life-changing method and help people of all ages experience greater fulfillment, ease, and potential.

About Neuromovement®

The Anat Baniel Method® (ABM) Neuromovement® is a cutting-edge, science-based approach that harnesses the brain's ability to change itself at any age. Through gentle, non-invasive movements, ABM taps into the brain’s neuroplasticity, enabling children and adults to enhance learning, recover from injuries, and overcome pain and limitations.

Unlike traditional therapies that focus on symptoms and problem areas, ABM shifts the focus to the brain, where the possibilities for transformation are unlimited and true solutions are discovered. By unlocking the brain's capacity to create new neural pathways, ABM fosters profound and lasting improvements.

As Anat Baniel says, "Movement is the language of the brain." By using movement in new and intentional ways, this method provides the brain with fresh information and experiences, allowing it to rewire and function more effectively. Rooted in the groundbreaking work of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais and supported by current brain plasticity research, ABM Neuromovement empowers people to overcome limitations, achieve lasting transformation, and reach new levels of vitality and fulfillment.

Private Sessions

Individual sessions, called Functional Synthesis (FS), are hands-on movement lessons where a practitioner works one-on-one with a client. These lessons use gentle touch, slow movement, and awareness to communicate with the brain and create new neural connections. Each session is tailored to the client’s unique needs, abilities, and limitations, focusing on experiential learning. The slow, non-invasive movements provide the brain with fresh sensory information, encouraging it to reorganize and develop more effective patterns of movement and thinking.

Intensives
  • FS lessons are gentle, adaptable, and suitable for people of all ages and conditions

  • FS lessons are typically conducted on a low padded table, but they can also take place on the floor, in a chair, or on a parent’s lap for infants and small children.

  • FS lessons last 35-45 minutes, as this is the optimal amount of time for the brain to stay engaged in the learning process.

  • Clients should wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement

To optimize learning and achieve faster, more lasting neuroplastic changes, we recommend a series of Functional Synthesis (FS) lessons done in a short timeframe. The brain’s ability to form new patterns strengthens when lessons are taken frequently and closely together. Typically, an intensive includes 4 to 10 consecutive lessons, either daily or twice daily over 2-5 days. This concentrated approach helps the brain build on each session, allowing small changes to accumulate into significant improvements. The benefits of this focused format are far greater than spreading lessons over time.

Pricing: $100 / 45 minute lesson

Group Sessions

A group movement lesson in the Anat Baniel Method® is called a Transformational Movement Lesson (TML). In these sessions, participants are verbally guided through a series of slow, gentle movements that help the brain improve how it organizes movement and function. Unlike traditional exercise classes, the focus isn’t on stretching or strengthening muscles but on moving with awareness. By paying attention to subtle differences in how your body moves, the brain receives new information, which helps it create more efficient, coordinated, and comfortable movement patterns. These lessons are suitable for people of all ages and abilities and can help with everything from reducing pain and stiffness to improving overall vitality and well-being. Contact me for more information if you wish to participate in a group movement lesson.
